Full disclosure I hated getting my haircut or colored because of some traumatic experiences in the past. HOWEVER, enter Claire at songbird society and all my woes are gone. She has restored my faith in salon quality hair care. The staff are personable, attentive, and truly listen to what you are envisioning for yourself and make that happen. I leave feeling more confident than I go in and that is all you can really ask for.

From the moment I made my last-minute appointment as a first-time customer, everyone was incredibly friendly. The person who helped me schedule the appointment made it so easy. Then, the gentleman who answered the phone and provided directions couldn’t have been more pleasant—I could practically hear his smile! Eleanor, my stylist, did an amazing job transforming my dull blonde into something vibrant and fresh, and she was so kind throughout the experience. It was truly a wonderful visit, and I definitely plan to return. The only area for improvement would be the hair-washing experience, which could use the same charm and care as the rest of the service. But other than that, everything else was a total home run!

Being a frizzy half wavy hair girl all my life, I feel fortunate to have Maggie as my hair stylist. Besides being a wonderful person, my hair looks fantastic and even better - it fits my lifestyle and the capacity I have for styling my own hair (which is zero). I don’t have to do a thing to make my hair look good other than seeing Maggie for my haircuts. I come down from NYC for work quarterly and make a point to make sure I can get into see Maggie when I need a trim.

I live in NYC but come down quarterly for work. I make it a point to make sure I can get into see Clarke while I’m down for my hair color - she does an incredible job and I get so many compliments on my hair color.

Hogan is always great but I really really enjoyed the shampoo by Roxsand! Some shampoo girls don’t even get all the color out (end up with itchy head) but Roxsand did a great job!

Not only are they gifted in their profession, but as individuals, they are gracious, truly caring, and they will listen to/ respect what you want done to your hair. I am always treated like family; I feel like a cherished old friend. As a bonus, the office staff are also wonderful! They always give me the warmest greeting when I arrive, accommodate any schedule changes and are so quick to answer the phone and return calls.
